Cash Money Roughstock Tour - Bull Riding / Ranch Bronc / Mutton Bustin - Collinsville, OK
Probably one of the most difficult locations I have ever shot with the light being so dim it took a lot to get the shots. Luckily the Roundup Club is replacing all the lights in the very near future which will change things considerably. At a young age my son went to a rodeo in Lawton with his grandparents and won the Mutton Bustin competition. The city boy went to the country and beat them at their own game. Fast forward 14 years and I watching Mutton Bustin in person myself. It is hands down the greatest event at a rodeo. To see the kids and their love for the rodeo is amazing and the wrecks are fantastic! In addition I met a senior at Collinsville High School that was shooting the rodeo as well and she gave me a lot of insights to the area and the Roundup Club in general. Great photographer and a barrel racer on top of that. Truly a great night at an outdoor rodeo!
