The Horse Photoshoot
My good friend Mike Darter reached out to me earlier this week asking if I wanted to come out with him to do a photoshoot of some high end cutting horses in Yukon. Of course I said absolutely and the planning began. I knew from my time shooting rodeo that any arena we shoot in at night was going to be pitiful lighting and fast forward I was correct. So.. leading up to the shoot tonight I reached out to my friend Robert Trawick about lighting. He said get over to his house and pick up his full flash kit from Westcott as he is a Westcott ambassador. I picked everything up and after numerous conversations on how a three light setup should happen we got the shoot done and it was truly amazing. And… I got me a new model in Mike’s daughter Ashlyn!! It was a win win night!!
